This is the first new song I've written/recorded in a few years.

The occasion is my wife and my 9th wedding anniversary. The lyrics reflect it. There is an additional theme for the observant.

No guitars again this time. Upright piano, bass organ, accordion, banjo, electric piano, drums and this other wooshy thing make up the sounds.

I've heard it spoken and I've seen it on a screen.
But I'm not sure of just what it's supposed to mean.
Well I read, "Some will stay and some will go."
That said, I think by now you oughtta know:

I'm not going anywhere.

People might think that this is all a joke to me
but there's some things that I take pretty seriously.
They say, "Ash-to-ash and dust-to-dust".
Well okay, but until then you'd better trust:

I know sometimes that I can seem a little down
but you're the most convincing argument for me to stick around.
